Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune stated yesterday that his country’s army is ready to act as soon as the borders between Egypt and the Gaza Strip are opened. In his speech on the fourth day of the electoral campaign, Tebboune said from the city of Constantine, northeastern Algeria: "We will not abandon Palestine in general, nor Gaza in particular," adding, "I swear to you by God, if they help us and open the borders between Egypt and Gaza... there is something we can do." He continued, "I made a promise... and the army is ready.
