Hezbollah attack shows Israel is losing deterrence: Iran
Iran made these comments after Lebanon's Hezbollah group fired hundreds of rockets and drones at Israel.
Iran has commented that the attack by the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah has shown that Israel has lost its deterrence and that the strategic balance in the region has shifted against Israel.

Iran said this after Hezbollah's attack on Israel on Monday. On Sunday morning, Hezbollah fired hundreds of rockets and drones at Israel. Meanwhile, Israel's military said it had carried out about 100 militant airstrikes in Lebanon to prevent a major attack.

It was one of the biggest attacks in more than 10 years of border fighting. Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani wrote in X, "Despite the full support of countries like the United States, Israel has not been able to determine the time and place for a limited and planned response to the Axis powers of resistance. Israel has lost its immunity.”
